Drying lamp is intended for drying of zirconia frameworks after coating with colour liquid before sintering. Precautions are to be taken when working with drying lamp as it heats substantially. It should be emphasised that only completely dried frameworks can be sintered otherwise the sintering chamber can be damaged and heating elements corroded because of the acid steam which evaporates and can also cause corrosion of other metal parts. Drying time depends on the size of the restoration; 15 minutes for individual restorations or even 90 minutes for bigger and massive bridges.
